At VINCI Energies Italia, we believe that sustainability is a shared responsibility and a concrete commitment.
For this reason, we are proud to support the initiative promoted by Axians Italia, the Group’s ICT brand, which is launching the “New Life to Technology” project with a clear goal: to reduce the environmental impact of electronic waste and encourage the reuse of still-functioning technologies.
The initiative will take place from March 18th, Global Recycling Day, to May 17th, World Technology Day.
During this period, the Group’s employees will be able to bring unused technological devices — smartphones, tablets, PCs, chargers — to the company to ensure proper recovery or responsible disposal.
The collection and management will be handled by Axians Italia, in collaboration with ReTech Life, a partner specializing in sustainable regeneration and disposal.
Devices that are still functioning will be donated to schools, foster homes, and communities in need, while those that cannot be recovered will be disposed of with full respect for the environment.
“Technological progress is not only measured by innovation but also by the ability to make it accessible and sustainable,” says Thomas Panozzo, Country Managing Director of VINCI Energies Italy. “This initiative is not just a concrete action but an invitation to rethink our relationship with technology and the planet’s resources.”
The “New Life to Technology” initiative is a tangible call to action, aimed at building a more sustainable and compassionate future together.
