Verona, 4 March 2025 – VINCI Energies Italia confirms its social commitment with a solidarity initiative to help Verona prison. Thanks to a collaboration with the Social Cooperative Universo Onlus, unused furniture from the offices of VINCI Energies Italia, still in excellent condition, was donated to the prison of the Venetian city to set up new spaces to support internal activities.

The operation is part of the broader “NOC in prison” project promoted by Axians – a VINCI Energies brand specializing in ICT solutions – already launched at the Milan Bollate prison. The initiative aims to create new spaces dedicated to professional activities of prisoners, offering them opportunities for training and social reintegration. The “NOC in prison” model is therefore also extended to the Verona penitentiary institution, contributing to the redevelopment of environments and the improvement of working conditions within the structure.

“For some time now, our mission has not been limited to business growth, but also extends to social responsibility. This initiative represents a concrete step towards supporting projects with a positive impact on the community” – said Thomas Panozzo, Country Managing Director of VINCI Energies Italia. “We are proud to be able to contribute to the creation of more functional and welcoming spaces for the Verona prison, strengthening our commitment to promoting social inclusion paths.”

The initiative was made possible thanks to the collaboration with the Social Cooperative Universo Onlus, which facilitated contact between the prison of Verona and the management of the donation. The transfer of the furnishings was accompanied by a symbolic invoice of a few euros, allowing VINCI Energies Italia to proceed with the regular transfer of the material. The company thus continues to develop projects with a strong social impact, promoting integration between the business world and local communities.
